There are 3 major differences between Pai Gow Poker and regular Poker. 1. 7 cards are dealt to each player. 2. Dealt cards are separated into a 'High' hand (consisting of 5 cards) and a 'Low.' hand (consisting of 2 cards). 3. The joker is used as a wild card to complete a Flush, Straight, Straight Flush or Royal Flush; at all other times the joker is used as an Ace.

  • Flush: As when receiving a 6 card straight, upon receiving a 6 card flush, always use the lower flush in the 5 card hand and reserve the highest card for the 2 card hand.
