TSI operates out of France as financial technology company specialising in the provision of electronic money, payment services, and third-party support.
TSI Payment is leading the way in the French financial technology (fintech) market, having created the company back in 2003. The acquisition of several financial operating licences have enabled TSI Payment to drive forward within financial services to provide payment capabilities across more than 200,000 points of sale for some 400 commercial partners.
Electronic money is one of the core pillars of the company, with TSI Payment licenced to generate digital currency. Fundamentally, how the system works is that TSI Payment provides a service whereby a 16-digit number can be generated as the means of representing currency.
Branded as Ticket Premium, consumers can purchase online credit by paying with cash or card in person at a participating vendor from France or Europe. In terms of scope, Ticket Premium codes can be generated for cash ranging from €10 to €250.
TSI Payment also provides B2B payment services to partners, starting from the ground up. Ultimately, it is possible to utilise the support of TSI Payment to implement a system that allows for commercial vendors, including iGaming operators, to process payments that are made by credit cards.
There is also a third-party service that allows for payment collection by external partners. Some of the main payment service providers covered are CB, VISA, MasterCard, and S€PA, with TSI Payment handling the compliance and regulatory requirements.
In the realm of security, TSI Payment has attained PCI-DSS Level 1 certification and CNIL/GDPR. At the same time, the company has also gained industry accreditation from the likes of PCI, EMA, France Fintech, ISO, ASF, and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation.
